Color: unfiltered amber
Head: off-white, rocky
Nose: grainy, grassy hops
Palate: balanced, grainy, hoppy
Finish: clean, semi-dry
Served: from a bottle bought locally
Impression: This one looked promising with a huge lasting head and some grassy hops in the nose but it’s surprisingly on the bland side, especially compared to the two previous Günther Bräu offerings. It’s certainly an easy drinking Kellerbier but it lacks any disginguishing characteristics and aside from its appearance, it could be a mass produced brew from a large conglomerate brewery.
