Impression: I had this beer two winters ago and thought it was just okay but on my return visit, I found it much more pleasant. It was a very new brewery at the time and perhaps it just took them some time to get their brewing act together. At any rate, it was a nice clear golden but the head thinned out quite quickly. There was some hops in the nose along with a peppery note. It was surprisingly dry and fruity with a clean semi-bitter finish. It’s not the beer you go all the way to Bamberg for but if looking for an easy drinking lighter beer, this one will do the trick especially with food.
