Color: light honeycomb
Head: white, rocky, lasting, ueasty
Nose: yeasty, slight banana
Body: medium, effervescent
Palate: citrusy, yeasty
Finish: clean, semi-dry, semi-bitter
Served: from a bottle bought in the area
Impression: I had this on tap at the brewery and wasn’t overly impressed despite a friend’s recommendation. It had some butter and he had described it as lemony which I didn’t taste at all. I’m glad I bought this bottle as it’s entirely different. It’s much lighter in color and has one of the best heads I’ve seen on a Weißbier. It’s definitely citrusy and quite dry for the style. The finish is clean, semi-dry and even slightly bitter. It’s a very refreshing Weißiber.
