Impression: Happy to find a Maibock on tap for my 500th Franconian beer review on Beerwanderers. Unfiltered golden with a creamy head, it’s served on the cold side and a bit fizzy but nicely balanced with some floral hops in both the nose and palate along with plenty of malt backbone and a touch of honey. Lingering finish is semi-dry and bittersweet.
Congratulations on your 500th beer review.
Thanks to online orders I kept a good pace during the lockdown, probably getting more new beers in that I might have otherwise. That said, it was nice to have a draft for the big 500th! 🙂
