Weiherer Rauchbock

unfiltered amber beer

Kündmüller/Cervejaria Bamberg Rauchbock

Brewery:
Kundmüller
Town:
Viereth-Trundstadt (Weiher)
Style: Rauchbock

Color:
unfiltered amber
Head:
white, creamy
Nose: lightly smoky

Body: medium

Palate: balanced, fruity, light smoke, faint grain, fruity, a touch of honey, underlying floral hops

Finish: lingering, bittersweet

Served: from a bottle bought in the area

Impression: Kundmüller doesn’t really get the respect it deserves, not because of but perhaps despite its success. This lovely soft smoke Bock has an array of flavors. There’s a light smokiness intermingling with honey and a host of hops. The lingering finish is bittersweet and moreish. This is a collaboration with Brazilian Craft brewery Cervejaria Bamberg.
