Brewery: Schübel Bräu
Color: unfiltered amber
Head: white, rocky, sudsy
Nose: grainy, light hops
Palate: grainy, hoppy
Finish: clean, semi-dry, bitter
Served: from a bottle bought in the area
Impression: This poured with a massive rocky head and grain/light hops in the nose. It’s a nice hoppy Kellerbier, something increasingly hard to find. There’s a nice but not intrusive grain element and a firm malty backbone which keeps it balanced. The finish is pleasantly bitter and makes it moreish at 4.9%.
