Sauer Rossdorfer Pils

Brewery: Sauer
Town:
Roßdorf am Forst
Style:
Pils
Color:
pale golden
Head:
white, creamy
Nose:
grainy, faint hops
Body: medium

Palate:
balanced, grainy, hoppy, dry
Finish: lingering, dry, bitter

Served: from a bottle bought in the area

Impression: Hard to believe it took me so long to try this marvelous Pils. Nicely balanced but certainly hop forward and dry with a nicely integrated grain element. The lingering finish is bitter but not overly so. It’s a great session beer at 4.9%.

Next beer or back to the beer list.
