Meister Hell

Brewery: Meister
Town: Unterzaunsbach

Style: Helles
Color: golden
Head: off white, creamy, chiffon-like
Nose: malty, light grain, faint hops, a touch of butterscotch
Body: medium
Palate: malty, some faint grain, underlying hops, wee bit of butterscotch
Finish: lingering, semi-dry, semi-bitter

Served: from a bottle bought in the area

Impression: I’d not seen this before and for good reason, it’s new as of 2020. Magnificent looking Helles with a creamy chiffon-like head and light mix of grain and hops in the nose. There’s a touch of butterscotch in the mix but it’s well-integrated and pleasant. Lingering semi-dry finish with a slight pleasant bitterness.
