Color: unfiltered ruddy
Head: off-white, rocky, yeasty
Nose: classic banana/clove, yeast, faint grain
Palate: fruity, yeasty, slight banana
Finish: clean, dry, pleasant very slight bitterness
Served: from a bottle bought in the area
Impression: This was six weeks past its date but poured beautifully with perhaps more sentiment left in the bottle than is typical. Nothing floating so I’m good. Nice ruddy hue with lovely head. Classic nose of banana/clove/yeast with a touch of grain. It’s a very refreshing fruity Weisßbier without much clove so really what I like. I’d not hesitate to get it again.
Next beer or back to the beer list.

Hope you’ve managed to get in a few beer wanders during all this COVID! Hope you and D are well x
Sadly have not been out of our neighborhood since Christmas and not in a brewery since the last Sunday in October. 🙁 You’ll notice a lot of bottle reviews and that means one thing…I can’t get to my beer on tap! Hopefully, that will change come May.
Oh man that sounds horrible! Such a long lockdown! I’ll have a beer on tap for you in your honour this long weekend when we head down south for Easter break. X
Please do. I know it’s not something you take lightly. lol
