Friedel Vollbier
Brewery: Friedel
Town: Zentbechhofen
Style: Vollbier

Head: white, sudsy
Nose: grainy, light hops

Finish: dry, bitter
Served: from a bottle bought in the area
Impression: This is a brewery I’ve not managed to get inside of though I’ve been to it a few times. Until I can manage a real visit, I am working my way through their line-up in bottles. I quite liked their Friedelsator and I can say I liked this every day beer too. It’s quite hoppy with a nice grain element before the clean bitter finish. It could probably use a bit more malt but if hoppy brews are what you like, you’ll find this one not overly bitter and a good session beer.
