Impression: It took me what seemed forever to get to this classic brewpub and it would have been easy to be disappointed but it’s one gorgeous and quaffable malt forward brew. It’s golden hue is capped with a creamy head with just a hint of malt in the nose. It’s quite rich but without any real discernible hop presence, it manages to be dry as well. I’d have to say it was a hard beer to get my head around but an easy one to get my throat enthralled with. It’s dangerously drinkable and it catches up with you if you’re not careful. I look forward to trying their Bock one day soon.
