Impression: Oddly enough, this brewpub was my original choice for lunch on this very trip but they were only open for lunch on Sunday and we were driving through on a Saturday. After lunch at the “other” brewpub, we stopped in a beer store to pick up some local stuff and I was happy to see the Schleicher beers available. I only got this one as I wasn’t sure if it would be all that great but after pouring it, I was sorry. It had a gorgeous amber hue and massive lasting head and malty nose. It was a nicely balanced malt forward beer with just enough hops to make for a semi-dry, moreish finish. Hope to stop in the brewpub soon and if I see any of their beers in bottles, I’ll pick them up.
Next beer or back to the beer list.
