Impression: This is a beer I see around a fair amount. I really noticed a lot of places in Lichtenfels had it on tap and wanted to stop in for one when there recently but didn’t want to miss my train. A friend mentioned later that the beer was decent and some of my tour participants also mentioned it as one of the best beers in Franconia. I saw some bottles and got them. This Pils was the lesser of the two but certainly a fair enough beer to have if it’s what’s on tap where you’re eating or want to grab a quick one before a train. It’s got a fair grain element but it’s dry enough in the finish and has only a slight bitterness too.
Next beer or back to the beer list.
