Eller Pils

Brewery: Eller
Town:
Birk am Forst (Untersiemau)
Style:
Pils
Color: golden

Head: white
, rocky
Nose: hoppy

Body: medium

Palate: balanced, hoppy, slight grain

Finish: clean, dry, semi-bitter

Served: on tap at the brewery

Impression: I didn’t have a lot of time and it would have been easy to have a second Rotbier but I tried the Pils despite getting burned on one the evening before at another brewpub. This one came out with a nice rocky head and hops in the nose so I was hopeful. The nose didn’t lie and it was a dry hoppy beer with just enough bitterness to make it moreish. Sometimes you just have to try the Pils.
