Impression: I wasn’t going to order the Pils as they are often disappointing but there was something about the hop profile in the Vollbier that intrigued me and they came pleasantly forward in this tasty Pils. It came out in a lovely logo Pils glass and it wasn’t fizzy despite the vessel’s size. It had a nice grassy element and the Spalter hops were lovely in drying the beer out without making it overly bitter.
