Ebensfelder Adam Riese Urtrunk
Brewery: Ebensfelder Brauhaus
Color: unfiltered dark chestnut
Head: off-white, rocky
Nose: faint hop
Palate: slight roast, hops up front, malty backbone
Finish: semi-dry, semi-bitter, moreish
Served: on tap at the brewery tap, Zum Schwan
Impression: This was a great looking beer with a gorgeous head and some hops in the nose. It’s a very balanced Dunkles with a great semi-dry finish. I’d really enjoyed their Kellerbier up at their Keller but this one was even better.
