Döbler-Hefeweizen
Brewery: Döbler
Town: Bad Windsheim
Style: Weizen
Color: honeycomb
Head: white, rocky
Nose: banana, yeasty
Body: medium
Palate: fruity, strong banana note, some yeast
Finish: fairly clean, lingering
Served: on tap at the brewery
Impression: I only had a small one of these but was impressed when it came out in a small Weißbier glass with their logo, and nicely poured at that. I found it ticked all the boxes for the style and there wasn’t anything wrong with it but it didn’t stand out in particular way either. If you like the style, by all means have one. It’s deceptive at 5.6%.
