Impression: I’d had this Kellerbier a few times at their Keller and always enjoyed it but it had been quite a few years since I was there. I’d heard some bad things about the beer so was intrigued to see if it had changed. I’ll have to admit, I went back as much for the great food as to resample the beer. That said, I was glad I gave it another go as I still found the Kellerbier a tasty beer. It had a very slight chocolate note to the otherwise malty palate and there were enough hops in the mix for a clean, slightly bitter finish. I liked it more than their Hausbier. I also found it heaps better than the beer I had at the super popular Brauhaus am Kruezberg just a few steps away.
Next beer or back to the beer list.
