Wagner-Bräu Pils
Brewery: Wagner-Bräu
Town: Kemmern
Style: Pils
Color: unfiltered amber
Head: white, ample
Nose: slight hop
Body: soft, low carbonation
Palate: dry, fruity, hoppy
Finish: clean, bitter
Served: on gravity dispense at the brewery
Impression: Their Ungespundetes was so good, it would have been easy to drink it all night, especially with it being gravity dispense but decided to try the Pils and found out later, it was also served this way. You don’t see two on one small pub often and this was in great shape too. Despite the low carbonation, the head seemed to last to the bottom of the head. It was a another great dry, fruity session beer with perhaps a tad more hops up front and bitterness in the finish.
