Town: Lauf an der Pegnitz
Color: deep amber
Nose: rich malt
Palate: richly malty, some spiciness
Finish: clean, slightly bitter
Served: from a bottle bought locally
Impression: This is a nice looking Märzen with a deep amber hue and rocky head. There’s a bit of spice in the otherwise malty palate and the finish is clean enough. I’d like to have this at the brewery on tap one day.
