Dremel Dunkles Zwicklbier
Brewery: Dremel
Town: Wattendorf
Style: Kellerbier
Color: in Krug so no visuals
Head: white, dense
Nose: malty, some grain
Body: medium, low carbonation
Palate: fruity, hoppy, dry
Finish: clean, somewhat bitter
Served: on tap at the brewery
Impression: This is Dremel’s signature beer and is described as dark and unfiltered. From photos, it looks amber and would more neatly fit into the Fronconian Kellerbier mold. Served in a Krug, there are no visual aspects to affect your non-visual perceptions and I kind of like that. It’s a the kind of dry fruity beer you most easily find in Franconia and a perfect session beer for the Bierkeller.
