Impression: This brewery makes the kind of Dunkles that generally keeps you from trying anything else but after not having been to Pottenstein in many years and spending a couple nights, I finally tried their Pils. It was a warm sunny day and I sat out back for the first time too. It looked great in the sun and was certainly tasty with a nice floral nose. It was quite malty for the style and the finish was bittersweet. With just a bit more malt and more alcohol, it would make a fine Hellerbock. While not your typical Pils, it’s a nice beer nonetheless.
