Brauerei Grosch Prinz Albert Pils

yellow beer in stemmed glass
Grosch Prinz Albert Pils

Brewery: Brauerei Gasthof Der Grosch
Town: Rödental (Oeslau)
Style: Pils
Color: straw to light golden
Head: fluffy, white
Nose: grainy
Body: medium
Palate: well-balanced, grainy, underlying hops
Finish: long, semi-dry, slightly bitter

Served: on tap at the brewery

Impression: This was my third beer of my visit and I was looking for a dry hoppy Pils after my rather large meal.  Again, it was served in a logo specific glass and a fine looking beer. It was a bit grainy for a Pils and perhaps more in the Helles family for me. Actually, if it were sold as a Helles,  I would have probably found it a nice dry one and quite easy to drink at 4.9%. So, a good beer but perhaps not quite a great Pils.

Next beer or back to the beer list.
