Weber-Bräu Landbier Hell
Brewery: Weber-Bräu
Town: Röbersdorf
Style: Landbier
Color: light golden
Head: white, creamy
Nose: slightly hoppy
Body: medium
Palate: hoppy from the start with some malt backbone
Finish: clean, bitter
Served: on tap at the brewery
Impression: Was happy to finally get a beer at this brewery as it was unexpectedly closed the first time I stopped due to the dreaded unannounced work vacation. As it turned out, it would stop brewing soon after and now the beers are contract brewed by Rittmayer in Hallerndorf. I liked the Landbier Dunkel a bit better even though it was only available in bottled form. The Hell version was on tap and was again, a very hoppy brew with a clean bitter finish. It seemed to lack some of the more interesting malty overtones of the Dunkel.
