Impression: Kathi-Bräu’s Braunes Lagerbier is heading towards a southern Bavarian Dunkles so not typical of the region. That said, it’s one of the most beloved on the Aufsess Circuit. It’s a gorgeous looking beer and enjoying one in the brewery’s charming little Biergarten a feather in the cap kind of beer experience you’ll always look back on fondly. It’s got a rich malty palate but the roasty element and underlying hops make the finish moreish.
