Fäßla Gold-Pils

gold beer in mug
Fässla Gold-Pils

Brewery: Fäßla
Town:
Bamberg
Style:
Pils
Color:
light golden
Head: white
, creamy
Nose:
slight grain
Body:
medium, low carbonation
Palate:
balanced, nice mix of malt and hops
Finish: long, dry, bitterish

Served: on tap at the brewery

Impression: This was another beer I hadn’t had in awhile but I liked the Lagerbier so much and was enjoying their little courtyard so decided to have the Gold-Pils too. While it wasn’t quite as tasty as the Lagerbier, it was nonetheless a very quaffable brew if not my idea of a true Pils.

Next beer or back to the beer list.
