Impression: Though I was a bit disappointed to find this not a Dunklerbock due to the popularity of their Dunkles Landbier, that feeling subsided quickly after one sip. It had a very nice floral hop aspect, was extremely balanced and not cloying in the least. It was dry for the style and was easy to drink considering it was 6.8% in alcohol. When I decided to have a second of one of the beers I’d had, it was the one I opted for. That’s saying a lot as I liked all of their beers. Resamples in March 2022 and it was gain excellent and I liked it better than the Weizenbock we’d come to try. I guess with COVID, this was just left over due to lack of business at the pub.
