Reblitz Bock

golden beer in mug

Reblitz Bock

Brewery: Brauerei Reblitz
Town: Nedensdorf
Style: Hellerbock
Color: unfiltered golden
Head: creamy, thinning
Nose: slight malt
Body: medium, medium carbonation
Palate: balanced, floral hops, dry
Finish: long, dry, bitterish

Served: on tap at the brewery

Impression: Though I was a bit disappointed to find this not a Dunklerbock due to the popularity of their Dunkles Landbier, that feeling subsided quickly after one sip. It had a very nice floral hop aspect, was extremely balanced and not cloying in the least. It was dry for the style and was easy to drink considering it was 6.8% in alcohol. When I decided to have a second of one of the beers I’d had, it was the one I opted for. That’s saying a lot as I liked all of their beers.

Next beer or back to the beer list.
