Impression: Friedmann’s is my least favorite beer on the Fünf Seidla Steig but I tended to drink the dark Ritter Wirnt. This time I opted for the Pils and was pleasantly surprised. As is not untypical for Fraconia, Pils are more rounded affairs and this one was on exception. There was a juicy fruitiness present that may not fit rigid style restrictions but was very pleasant none-the-less. That said, there was ample hopping, making for a dryish quaffable brew. I’m not going to give up on their dark beer just yet but my guess is the Pils will be my go to when on this trail.

Next beer or back to the beer list.
