The Death of a Brewery in Erlangen: Kitzmann

It's a sad day when a brewery closes down. Erlangen's Kitzmann Brewery is no more. Bought out by Kulmbacher, it is hoped the brewery tap and the Kitzmann line of beers will remain.

Erlangen's stopped brewing on September 30, 2018 but it is hoped their new owner Kulmbacher will continue to brew their large portfolio of beers. Their Kellerbier was true to form and it would be sad to see it not produced.
