Impression: I finally got a chance to have this again. I’d had it seven years ago or so but couldn’t quite remember what it was like. I only remembered it wasn’t as smokey as their signature Märzen. Well, it’s quite a nice Kellerbier even if it weren’t for the slight smokiness that never intrudes but none-the-less influences the overall impression. I noticed a lot of people drinking it and they weren’t all tourists. I’d have to say, it would be my first choice if there in summer again. Excellent smoky session beer.
