Head: off white, dense
Body: full-bodied, low carbonation
Palate: malty with a hint of roast, quite dry
Finish: very clean, dry and bitter
Served: on tap at the brewery
Impression: This is a very bustling place, the small Biergarten was packed the mid-day visit I paid it. Their much heralded Dunkles is a very clean quaffer with just enough roast to offset the primarily malty profile. The finish is very clean and moreish with just the right touch of bitterness.
