Impression: This is one of those beers you really wish was more readily available. It carries a lot of hype but fills all expectations. It’s a gorgeous looking beer with a rocky tan head and low carbonation. The dry fruity palate has an undercurrent of dark chocolate but the firm hoppiness can’t be offset by anything else. That said, it’s nicely balanced with a long, dry bitter finish. This is my favorite beer on the Bierquellenwanderweg.
